Since 2023, I am Assistant Professor of Social Geography and Reflexive Migration Research at Osnabrück University. I am Co-PI of the FFVT-project and Co-editor of the “Report Globale Flucht”. Further, I am PI in the Collaborative Research Centre SFB1604 “Production of Migration”.
Prior to the current position, I held Postdoc positions at the Institute for Geography and IMIS at Osnabrück University, as well as at the Max Planck Institute for the Study of Religious and Ethnic Diversity in Göttingen. I received my doctorate in 2018 from Osnabrück University with a dissertation on the recruitment and employment of migrants and migrant descendants in public administration (“The Production of Diversity in Municipal Administrations: Continuity and Change of Organisations in the Migration Society”, Springer 2019).
