CoNet Connecting Networks – Strengthening international partnerships in refugee and forced migration studies (in cooperation with NWFF)

In this workshop, the German Network for Forced Migration Studies (NWFF) and FFVT kindly invite networks from around the world working on issues related to forced migration and refugees to come together to find ways to strengthen the development of international partnerships in this field. This first workshop addresses questions about structural and organisational cooperation among the networks.

  • Room 1: Information flow
  • Improve the flow of information between the networks
  • Internet presence in the respective partner network web sites
  • Supporting international lectures (eg. requests for international expertise in teaching and for conferences)
  • Room 2: Events and activities (conferences, lectures, etc.)
  • Ways of including each other at our network conferences
  • Planning of further joint conferences and/or workshops
  • Joint Publications and Blogs
  • Room 3: Cooperation and advocacy
  • Structures for long-term cooperation through official network partnership agreements
  • Supporting international research collaboration (eg. requests for research partners)
