Dr Yuliya Kosyakova

Dr Yuliya Kosyakova, senior researcher, Institute for Employment Research (IAB), Nürnberg; coordinator of the IAB-BAMF-SOEP Survey of Refugees (together with Herbert Brücker), IAB; Leader of the IAB working group “Consequences of the COVID-19 Pandemic” (together with Laura Pohlan), IAB; Associate Lecturer, University of Bamberg. Previously, she was Associate Lecturer, University of Mannheim (2019-2021). From 2012 to 2016, she was Research Scientist at the ECR advanced grant Project eduLIFE, at the Department of Political and Social Sciences, European University Institute (EUI), Florence. From 2011 to 2012, she was Research Scientist at the ECR advanced grant Project eduLIFE, at the University of Bamberg, Bamberg. Her main research interests focus on labor market and employment research, migration and refugee research, post-socialist societies, international comparison, institutional change, social stratification, gender inequality, social inequality of educational opportunities, life course research, adult education, and quantitative data analysis. She holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the European University Institute (EUI), conducted various research projects and has published over 25 research articles in internationally renowned journals.
